3. Vetting Process : Background checks must be conducted prior to an individual's participation in Best In PR Showcase activities and repeated every two years.
4. Venue and Media Requirements : Affiliated venues and media members accessing these events must also complete background checks to ensure athlete safety.
5. Vendors and Partners : Best In PR Showcase requires that third parties such as contractors and community organizations with which it partners also comply with these requirements.
6. Verification Components : Verification includes identity validation, criminal history records in multiple jurisdictions, and watch lists, among other components.
7. Eligibility and Appeals : If the background check results affect eligibility, the individual may receive an “approved” or “denied” status. Those with “denied” results can appeal through the Best In PR Showcase appeals process.
